James Black

James Black was born in Adelaide and moved to Melbourne in the late 70s to play keyboards and guitar with Russell Morris and Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons.  He was a founding member of Mondo Rock and enjoyed success in Australia with three hit albums. James was musical director for Deborah Conway’s annual BROAD festival and produced two of her albums. He performed on keyboards with Gurrumul and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Opera house and for 12 years James donned a white hat and became known as the musical director and music producer for the SBS TV show, Rockwiz and its spinoff live shows.

Simon Starr

Simon Starr is a musical monk who has toured, recorded and performed with many of Australia’s most respected artists for over 30 years, crossing over in to all styles owing to his deep love of all music and grooves.. An accomplished composer, multi-instrumentalist, arranger and producer, Starr has featured on over 100 recordings including 15 that he has produced for other artists.

Dave Williams is one of Australia’s most accomplished musicians and in-demand drummers. As a founding member of Melbourne five-piece, Augie March, Williams has established himself as a critically acclaimed musician, as well as a nationally-renowned drummer, singer, instrumentalist for hire and educator. He’s recorded and performed with a raft of iconic Australian acts, including Chris Cheney, Laura Jean, Luluc, Josh Pyke, Dan Kelly, Mia Dyson, Jen Cloher, Liz Stringer, Bob Evans, Paul Dempsey and Australian rock royalty Deborah Conway and Paul Kelly.

Steven Veale

Steven Veale is a Melbourne-based session musician and songwriter. In his 20 plus years he has written, recorded and toured with artists such as Dan Sultan, Bertie Blackman, Lior and as principal songwriter for his own project The Hello Morning. He has performed at Splendour in the Grass, Meredith Music Festival, The Big Day Out, Golden Plains, Byron Bluesfest as well as Americana Fest in Nashville and the World Expo in Shanghai, China.
